macOS Sierra Quarantine: Gatekeeper: SIP (System Integrity Protection)

How to Disable Gatekeeper and Allow Apps From Anywhere in macOS Sierra

The Gatekeeper settings can be found in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. The Gatekeeper options are located beneath :undefined:“:undefined:All apps downloaded from::undefined:”:undefined: with the choice of :undefined:“:undefined:Anywhere:undefined:”:undefined: missing.

Thankfully, the :undefined:“:undefined:Anywhere:undefined:”:undefined: setting can be restored to Gatekeeper in Sierra with a Terminal command. First, quit System Preferences if it:undefined:’:undefined:s open and then open a new Terminal window. Enter the following command, followed by your admin password when prompted:

sudo spctl --master-disable

Restore Sierra Gatekeeper Settings to Default

sudo spctl --master-enable

Allow a single app through Gatekeeper

If you just want to allow 1 app through Gatekeeper without disabling the whole Gatekeeper use the below command in terminal:

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/LockedApp.app

"Note change "LockedApp.app" to the app you are trying to use for instance to allow Pages use:

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Pages.app

Awesome :)
